Landon turns 11 years old!

 Landon was not a very happy camper this year for his birthday because we had just moved across the country from MI to AL and he was missing his friends and asking daily, "when are we going HOME?"  Well, since this is our new home, we tried to make it as fun for his as possible.  We met up with The Hodge Family and The Mello Family at Six Flags in Atlanta, GA.  It was so hot!  The park ran out of ice and everyone had heat exhaustion, but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves and our friends.

               And I think the thing that made being away from "home" is the dirt bike that his dad got him!

Rylie turns 13!!! What?

My Baby is 13!  

Two months after we moved from MI to AL Rylie turned 13.  Hard to believe so much time has gone by.  Next year she'll be going off to the high school.  I remember Nathan and I having a conversation about her going to high school and how far away that seemed...when she was in elementary school.  I remember people telling me to cherish every moment because it goes by so fast.  Now I know what they meant and I catch myself feeling sad that I didn't.  Rylie is turning into be quite the amazing young lady.  Still a passion for animals and all things reptile!  Yuck!  She wants to be a nurse when she gets older.  Her newest interest is in becoming a mid-wife.  I hope she knows that we are here for her to help her achieve whatever it is that her heart desires!  We love you Ry!!!

6 Year's Old...Already!!!???

It's so hard to believe that my baby is going to by 6 years old soon!  We will be moving soon, so I wanted to make sure I took some time (even though it's hard to justify lately with all of the packing I have left to do!) to go to some of my favorite places to capture photo's!  We did this entire photo shoot in less than an hour!  He is so easy to photograph and I love how each photo captures a little bit of his amazing personality!

Owen's Going Away/Birthday Party

Owen really wanted a party with his friend's and family before our big move to AL. in a couple of weeks.  So, we decided on Jungle Java because our house is in now shape for entertaining.  He invited a few of his friends from kindergarten, his oldest friend, Griffen, and my niece's.  He got a Transformer's cake and we spent 3 hours there, with non-stop fun!

 My cousin, Kevin, was in town from KY. for some Detroit Tiger games.  He surprised us and came to the party!  He brought Owen an orange (his favorite color) Tiger's bat!  Very cool!
